Canadian exhibition tour

Time for a sneak preview of this year's team.

Vermont officially announced the details of their Canadian exhibition tour. They will be in Canada from August 12th-14th and will play 3 games. The NCAA allows teams to go on a foreign tour every 4 years and this will be the third time Vermont has participated (2014, 2018). It is a very cool opportunity to see the team in its early stages and get to know the new players. I highly suggest heading up for a game. I will be making it a Montreal weekend with the family and will provide coverage of each game. The Friday night game is at 8pm at College Jean-de-Brebeuf against Concordia and the weekend games are both at 2 pm against McGill and UQAM respectively. This is such a valuable experience for the players and especially with a young team gives the Cats an opportunity to get some early run in game situations. During the last tour I distinctly remember seeing Isaiah Powell, Ryan Davis, and Robin Duncan for the first time and coming away giddy with excitement about their potential. What a great way to satisfy the college basketball craving over the summer.
